The Chennai Super Kings are enduring their worst season in terms of form and results, on the brink of becoming the first team to be eliminated from IPL 2025. Captain Shreyas Iyer has led from the front, with his consistent form providing stability. Their top order has been a cornerstone of success. Priyansh Arya has been explosive, while Prabhsimran Singh has stepped up whenever Arya has fallen short, forming a reliable opening duo.
In the bowling department, Arshdeep Singh and Marco Jansen have led the charge effectively, well supported by Yuzvendra Chahal. Nehal Wadhera has also made valuable contributions in crunch moments, further boosting the team’s depth.
On the flip side, the major concern has been the underperformance of their Australian duo, Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell.
