India pacer Arshdeep Singh mischievously pulled the leg of Mohammed Siraj by reciting his famous dialogue he said to Jasprit Bumrah after India's win in the T20 World Cup 2024. Siraj was the star performer on Day three of the Edgbaston Test as his six wickets helped India get a massive lead of 180 runs. Naturally, with the pacer being the toast of the nation, he was called in for an interview after the end of Day's play.
It was during this time that Arshdeep cheekily chipped with Siraj's famous line for Bumrah, saying, "I only believe in Jassi bhai," which should be changed after the pacer's 5-wicket haul in Edgbaston. "Brother, there is a dialogue change. I only believe in myself and Jassi bhai," Arshdeep Singh interrupted at the very start of the interview.

For the unversed, it was Mohammed Siraj who triggered a collapse as his six-wicket haul helped India get back to the contest after a threatening sixth-wicket partnership between Harry Brook and Jamie Smith threatened to take the game away from India. While Akash Deep broke the stand by dismissing the former, Siraj later took charge to take three lower-order wickets to help get a massive lead. This was the pacer's fifth five-wicket haul, and perhaps a match-winning one, as India aims to bounce back after defeat in the first Test in Leeds.
Mohammed Siraj's six wickets gives India a huge advantage
Speaking about the match with India getting a big 180-run lead, now it is up to the batters to drive the game forward and shut the door on England. The visitors would also be hoping to not repeat the mistakes of the first Test as India collapsed from a position of strength to only set a target of 371 runs. England easily overhauled the target on the back of a stunning century by Ben Duckett.
