Eden Gardens is all set to host the KKR vs GT clash in the IPL 2025 match on Monday, April 21. The match starts at 7:30 PM IST with the Kolkata Knight Riders returning to their home ground for the first time since April 8.
The defending champions have played three matches at the Eden Gardens so far, losing two of them. Against GT, they will be looking to notch up their second win at home. After GT, the Knight Riders host Punjab Kings at the Eden Gardens on April 26.
Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, are topping the IPL 2025 points table at the moment. They lost their opening game to Punjab Kings, won their next four on the trot, lost to LSG and won against DC in their previous match heading into this contest. The Titans are one of the five teams on 10 points so far in the season.

The pitch at the Eden Gardens has been a subject of heated debate. So far, three matches have been played at this venue. KKR lost two of them, and especially their last loss against LSG by just four runs was heartbreaking after the side played so well in the chase. KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane has been pleading for spinning tracks. However, the KKR curator Sujan Mukherjee has not allowed him to have a say in the matter so far. With the franchise struggling and in the second half of the points table, it will be interesting to see what kind of track will be laid out for this contest.
