Rohit Sharma Technically Correct Than Virat Kohli - Herschelle Gibbs

The BCCI needs to find Kohli's ideal replacement in the nick of time just before the England Test series. Meanwhile, former South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs has shared a massive opinion on the two batters. He said that Rohit is a more technically sound batter than Kohli.

“You ever see Rohit defend balls on 4th or 5th stump? How many times did Virat get out doing just that? Rohit definitely technically better than Virat. Rohit was always more technically correct than Virat. But Virat’s desire to dominate, especially in white ball format, is a major difference between the two batters," Gibbs said in his interaction with a fan on Twitter.

Since Kohli and Rohit retired, there have been many theories that have been making the rounds on social media. Several reports say that both of them were forced into retirement. India did not reach the WTC final under Rohit's captaincy in the format. Meanwhile, Kohli scored just 190 runs in the Test series against Australia when he was expected to score a lot more. India lost the series 3-1 as a result.
