Travis Michael Head was born on 29th December 1993 to Simon Head and Ann Head in Adelaide, South Australia. He has two siblings - brother Ryan and sister Chelsea. Head represented both Under-17 and Under-19 South Australia. He made his National Under-19 Championships debut at age 17.
