Points Table Details

The SA20 points table follows a simple structure: a win earns 4 points, a no result provides 2 points, and a loss results in 0 points. Teams can earn a bonus point (1 additional point) for a win if their run rate difference is 1.25 times higher than the opponent's. This system encourages teams to achieve big wins while aiming for a superior net run rate.

The top four teams on the points table will progress to the knockout stage, which consists of two qualifiers and one eliminator. The final will be played between the winners of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2. The teams participating in the tournament are Pretoria Capitals, Joburg Super Kings, Durban Super Giants, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Cape Town Blitz, and Johannesburg Super Kings.
